• Beams and Cladding. We can supply a number of options of timber type and dimensions or we can cut your own personal specification to order. From our own stock, grown, felled and sawn in Warmhill and Hengrove woods, we are able to supply super durable Sweet chestnut, strong as an ox Larch, beautifully straight grained Douglas fir, majestic beech or structural spruce. From other local woodlands we can supply oak, Ash, cherry, or whatever is available. We can cut cladding with a waney edge to one side or both, square all round or even planed square edge. If you want a feature like ship-lap, tongue and groove or reeded bead, not a problem. Beams for your barn conversion, posts for your gates, planks for your table, whatever the size, we can cut it to your exact dimensions.

• Gates, Fences and Handrails. Forget the gates and fences you see every day, all bought from a DIY warehouse or builders merchant, made from fast grown chemically injected softwood, shipped half way around the world, that will keep the carpenter busy in subsequent replacements over the next few years. Our gates and fences are all made to order using either sweet chestnut, a traditional fencing material that has more than stood the test of time, with it’s quirky hand peeled shape and naturally pleasing tone to fit in to, as opposed to on top of, your environment, or for a squarer, more uniformed fence, resilient larch is synonymous with the word “fence” as it has been used in fencing as an industry standard for, well, ever? Please chat to us about what you are hoping to create, no matter how small or adventurous your idea might be, we will help you create it.

• Timber Structures and Buildings We are currently working on several ideas as garden structures, from cruk frame marquees, pergolas, arbours and rose arches to garden rooms, offices, shepherds huts and yurts. Please check back to see our products as they become available, alternatively, if you have an out door space, and live in the UK, it is pretty obvious that to unlock your gardens full year round potential, you could do with an outdoor space of some kind. Please get in touch, we would love to hear your crazy ideas.

• Outdoor Furniture. Benches, tables, BBQ tables, swing seats. A full range will be popping its head up over time, so please keep checking back. Of course, if you are lucky enough to have a unique idea for your outdoor furniture, please get in touch so that we may help you realise it.

• Woodland Products. What are woodland products? I hear you ask. Well, we think of woodland products as anything made using fresh, `green` timber, timber that still holds it moisture content and hasn’t had time to dry. A very different way of working, is attributed to the use of green timber, a different way of thinking and a complete different set of tools and skills. If you want peeled yurt poles, hand split roofing shakes or sawn shingles, spoon blanks or greenwood stools or furniture we can provide them. Please check back regularly to check out as our new products as they appear, or get in touch with any green wood requirements that you may have.

• Equestrian and Agricultural. Naturally durable larch equestrian fencing, to ensure your pony stays in their paddock or time tested sweet chestnut agricultural fencing that doesn’t rot in the ground like its softwood counterpart widely used in recent years. Stables, tractor sheds, woodsheds, fence stiles, kissing gates and tree guards all made to fulfil your own, unique requirements using naturally durable timber sustainably sourced from our own woodland. Please get in touch, if it’s not listed here, we probably still do it.

• Special Projects. Round pole buildings have been reintroduced and updated recently, mainly thanks to the pioneering efforts of Ben Law and Grand designs coverage of the construction of his off grid woodland home. Round pole building uses a mixture of sweet chestnut round poles and larch `beams` in the round all peeled of bark to produce a smooth but un-uniformed finish that will change its shade over time naturally blending into its surroundings as it gets older. This form of building predates square timber framing, but there is a whole new set of recognised joints and techniques to this system of building, such as the beautifully named butter-pat joint. If you would like to know more about this unique style of building, whether for a hut on wheels, a field shelter or a whole house please get in touch for a chat. Wood fired hot tubs and Saunas constructed using 40mm larch boards, sustainably sourced from our own woodlands, planed and shaped to make your own garden spa sanctuary. Just imagine, the aromatic smell of cedar logs, as they heat up your sauna to naturally cleanse your body both inside and out, then a dip under your plunge shower before easing your self into your own steaming hot tub, gazing up at the nights sky as you watch all your tribulations drift away with the stars. Your own totally off grid personal spa sanctuary whether in your city garden or way off in the wild woods, it doesn’t matter you can be wherever you want.

• Firewood. We produce a small quantity of seasoned firewood as a by-product to our other endeavours. We can supply hand split softwood kindling, split softwood logs of any size or mixed hardwood logs consisting mainly of sweet chestnut and birch with the possibility of some other species such as oak and beech present. Both are perfect for log burners. All of our logs are produced by hand by ourselves in Warmhill and Hengrove woods and can be delivered to your door with the minimum carbon footprint possible.

• Shop. All of our products are lovingly hand crafted by ourselves using sustainably sourced timber from Warmhill and Hengrove woods managed and cared for by ourselves or from nearby sustainably managed local woodlands.
